Re-opened April 2022 by Enthusiast's with the Support of the Building Owner and a Dedicated Band of Locals, the Cinema is Currently operated by an Incorporated Society Formed October 2022 comprising of Everyday people from the Community all pitching in to help "make things happen"

Supported by Local Farmer's, Small Business owners, Mum's & Dad's and Retiree's

​

Many of Whom are simply passionate about Dannevirke and "sit out" when Films are playing

​

Collectively we all put in over 100 Hours a week performing various duties from Basic Maintenance and Repairs, Cleaning, "Shop" duties, such has 'Front of House' and looking after stock, Technical side such as Movie Applications and 'Sorting', Roster management and yes Social Media and Website updates

What can you do?

​

In Short, as Much or as little as you can, but like most things, starting off slow & easy!

​

We operate with a Minimum of 2x people on Site

​

Volunteer applications are low-key though the Facebook Page or email and start off with meeting and Induction

​

then tag along for a session or two to see how the place runs

 

when you are rostered on you can watch the movie for free

 

We need extra hands for Daytime and School Holidays sessions

​

Our 'Normal' Screenings are between 2 and 20 people

​

We can Seat 170 and have seen a FULL House on at least 4x Special Events, so far

​
